WSU AgWeatherNet Set to Launch New Web Portal

WSU AgWeatherNet (AWN) is launching a new portal on February 15, 2026. This will be a significant upgrade to the system, and for those that utilize the system, you’ll want to check out and hear directly from AWN staff about how to use it.

Here’s the announcement from AWN:

Join the WSU AWN team to learn about our new web portal, scheduled for launch on February 15, 2026. Over the past year, the AWN web development team has worked diligently to migrate to a modern, multi‑device–friendly platform with enhanced functionality. The new portal improves how stakeholders access geospatial and station‑specific weather data, meteograms, decision‑support models for crop, human, and animal health systems, private smart‑farms, and ways to create/receive custom voice/text alerts.

During the webinar, we will highlight key features of the new portal through a live demonstration and gather questions and feedback from stakeholders to guide future improvements.

PRESENTER: R. Sanjita Bhavirisetty, AWN Application Systems Analyst/Developer

Format: This will be a zoom webinar and includes a live demo of AWN portal features, and discussion/questions with participants.
