The Lew Evans Memorial Trophy was established in 1949 in memory of former the Yakima County Sheriff, Leader and dedicated advocate for Yakima County 4-H. This trophy is awarded annually to a Yakima County 4-H Club that has demonstrated outstanding service to the community or world at large. In selecting the 4-H Club to receive the award, consideration will be given to the: Type of community service activities Percent of member participation Extent of harmony and good will developed Effect the activity had on the club and others involved Deadline to submit nominations is Monday, October 13th 2025.
