Washington State 4-H Equine Presentation Contest
May 16 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
The contest will be held virtually on May 16 and May 17. Registration will open January 1 via 4-H Online. The registration deadline is Monday, May 4.
Contestants will select an appointment time for their presentation during registration and may present on either of the days. The contest is open to Seniors and Intermediates. Contest results will be announced at an awards ceremony hosted on Zoom on Sunday, May 17, at 6 pm.
- NEW for 2026!! Intermediates are now invited to compete!
- The WA State 4-H Equine Presentations Contest will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026. All presentations will be given via Zoom and members are able to choose their presentation time window during registration.
- The State Contest is open to Intermediate and Senior 4-H Teams who qualified at their county level to compete in this state level contest. Contestants may be selected by any procedure the county deems appropriate.
- Registration is open in 4-H Online. Registration is required for each team member. Registration deadline is May 3, 2026.
- The registration fee is $25/member and can be paid by credit card during registration in 4-H Online.

- Washington State 4-H Horse Bowl Contest – May 3rd, Grant County Fairgrounds
- Washington State 4-H Equine Presentation Contest – May 16th, virtual on Zoom
New this year, an in-person “Introduction to Hippology” will be held simultaneously with the state contest. This is a fun, non-competitive introduction to Hippology. Come give it a try!
