Registration opens October 15th and closes November 2nd in 4-H Online “Shooting Sports Level 1 Whidbey November 2026”
Are you currently a 4-H volunteer that would like to be certified in Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzleloading or Pistol in your 4-H County club program, or to renew your certification? Volunteers need to be certified in a discipline to add these projects to their volunteer profile in 4-H Online.
Our next 4-H Level 1 Shooting Sports training will be held: Whidbey Island Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club, 3334 Brooks Hill Road, Langley, WA 98260.
Friday, November 6th 6:00-8:00 pm – Zoom Classroom Training
- Classroom training via Zoom
- Includes risk management + 1-hour QPR suicide prevention

- If you can’t attend, email 4h.shooting.sports@wsu.edu for a makeup session (required for certification).
Saturday, November 7th – in-person – Shooting Sports disciplines will be added soon!

Hours are 8 am – 5 pm with a working lunch.

There is also a required e-learning module that will be sent to all participants upon registration.
All registrations will be done on 4-H Online for Shooting Sports trainings going forward to make the process easier on our participants and staff.

Go to 4-H Online click on Events and select Shooting Sports Level 1 Training – Whidbey November 2026. to complete your registration after October 2nd or at 4-H Shooting Sports Level 1 Training Registration
This training will be held at the Whidbey Island Holmes Harbor Rod and Gun Club, 3334 Brooks Hill Road, Langley, WA.
Note – New volunteers: Please do not sign up for the Shooting Sports project in 4-H Online until your training has been completed, otherwise your registration may be delayed; remove the project before finishing registration in the Whidbey training event. You can register as a volunteer without a project listed.
