This scholarship is offered by the board members of the Washington State Junior Horse Show in recognition of the dedication Maravell Gonsioroski had for 4-H and for the many long hours she spent running the Washington State Junior Horse Show alongside Inez Walter. Maravell took over the show when Inez was reaching her elder years. Maravell later handed over the show to a committee, but was still active in assisting with the show board. The show has continued since 1936 and is an official Washington State Fair, funded by the Washington State Fairs Association.

Application Deadline: June 1, 2026

Amount of Scholarship: $1,000 (may be split between two applicants)
