The Xstwilx Community of Practice, a collaboration between CAFRU and the WSU Colville Reservation Extension Office, was featured in the CAHNRS Confluence magazine. The Community of Practice engages a diverse group of youth-serving stakeholders to develop and expand local expertise in trauma-informed principles and build capacity to address these issues at the community level. CAFRU project associates Myah Houghten, Cassandra Kelly, Rachel Terrell, and CAFRU director, Dr. Natalie Turner-Depue coordinate monthly meetings to work towards implementing trauma-informed principles in Community of Practice led activities.
