WSU Wahkiakum County Extension Lambing School
Plan to attend the 2018 Spring Lambing Management School on May 11, 2018 or May 12, 2018. The purpose of the school is to give producers some experience in assisting ewes with dystocia, caring for newborn lambs, and general care and management of a farm flock. WSU Beef 200 Course
Beef 200 is a shorter version of the intensive Beef 300 course. This is a two-day, hands-on, short course in Central Washington. Grant County 4-H/FFA Market Steer Weigh and Tag Day
All Grant County Fair steers, 4-H and FFA, must be weighed and tagged at this time in order to show and sell at the Grant County Fair. Each exhibitor is allowed to weigh in two steers maximum—they do not have to declare if they are 4-H or FFA at this time. All 4-H and FFA market lambs and goats that will be exhibited at the Grant County Fair must be tagged and weighed at this time. Washington Swine Information Day
The Washington Swine Information Day will be held on February 7, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 4:45 PM (registration 8:30 AM) at the Pillar Rock Grill (Moses Lake Golf & Country Club) in Moses Lake, Washington.
