USDA APHIS announced a funding opportunity for Wild Cervid Chronic Wasting Disease in 2022. The opportunity provided $400k to federally recognized Native American Tribal governments last year. Similar amounts of funding are anticipated to be available in 2023, but USDA APHIS seeks Tribal input for better aligning funding priorities with Tribal needs.
