Slowing The Waste Stream with the “3-Rs” – Canceled (no registrants)

Learn practical ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to minimize how much solid waste enters our landfills and some of the economic and environmental issues it causes. An overview of our solid waste situation will also be discussed. The class will be in the Lewis County Transfer Station’s conference room located in the main office next to the scales.

This class is part of a Master Recycler Composter (MRC) Volunteer Certification series and will include a tour of the Lewis County Transfer Station at noon. This is required for MRC Volunteer Certification but OPTIONAL for all others.
