Exemplifies the Motto: To Make the Best Better!
The four areas of 4-H: Head, Heart, Hands and Health are the ways this 4-H Youth expresses leadership all year long and during Fair week.
To choose the most deserving person, consider the youth who best leads using caring, concern for others, empathy and sharing. This special leader uses skill in conflict resolution, has social skills, is cooperative and communicates well.
The young leader you choose can keep records, plan, organize and set goals. Such a leader is a critical thinker and a problem solver.
This person leads by modeling, mentoring and teaching self-responsibility. Healthy lifestyle choices and personal safety are part of this person’s leadership style.
This leader is a responsible citizen, a team player, knows how to work hard, is self-disciplined and promotes these qualities in others through leadership roles.
