San Juan County Fair Ag Tent and Speaker Series
The San Juan Extension Ag Program hosts the Agricultural Tent at the San Juan County Fair each summer, bringing together local food and farming organizations to share information and resources with fairgoers, and also highlighting our unique and abundant local agriculture through visual displays and a series of talks and demonstrations on food and farming related topics.
This year’s Fair theme is “Into the Future, Back to our Roots.” See below for the daily schedule of all presentations for 2025.
SJC Master Gardeners at the Ag Tent each day from 12:00-2:00 PM. Come check out demonstrations and activities around setting up home worm compost systems. Come by to learn how to turn food waste into a garden soil amendment with the help of red wiggler worms.
