Cultivating Success™: Whole Farm Planning

This fall course will cover a broad range of topics including production and markets for today’s small farm!  Whether you are just exploring the opportunities available or already have an existing operation, you’ll learn what it takes to create, sustain, and grow a viable small farm.  

Details:

Dates: Sept. 22nd through Nov. 3rd

Time:  Mondays from 6-8pm

Location: Online course through Zoom with regional in-person opportunities

Cost: $200 registration per farm (up to 3 participants). Scholarships available for anyone for whom the course fee is a barrier.

Cultivating Success™: Whole Farm Planning will walk you through a step-by-step process, to help you prepare a well thought out plan for your land, life, and farm business. Learn how to use a whole system lens to create a living plan for your small farm future. Classes will meet weekly through Zoom, in an online classroom environment and you will be able to connect with a statewide community of other aspiring farm planners. Leave with tools for decision making and a road map to plan for your farming endeavors. Includes many opportunities for networking and community building in smaller breakout groups too! Come build a solid plan for a farm or food business that suits you.

Cultivating Success ™: Planificación holística de la granja le guiará paso a paso en el proceso de crear un plan para su terreno y su negocio agrícola. Aprenda a utilizar una visión sistemática y holística para planificar el futuro de su pequeña granja. Las clases tomarán lugar en línea semanalmente a través de Zoom y podrá interactuar con otros agricultores principiantes esparcidos por el estado. Obtendrá herramientas para la toma de decisiones, y para guiar y planificar sus pasos en el mundo agrícola. También habrán muchas oportunidades para conocer a personas nuevas y empezar a construir comunidad en grupo! Le ayudaremos a desarrollar un plan sólido para una granja o negocio agrícola que se adapte a sus necesidades.

La clase se reúne semanalmente los lunes de 6 a 8pm 
Curso en línea a través de Zoom con oportunidades regionales en persona  
$200 por inscripción que incluye hasta 3 personas por granja. Las becas están disponibles para cualquier persona para la que el costo del curso es una barrera.
