4-H Jackets
Did you know … those cool, green 4-H jackets are awarded to 4-H members and volunteers based on their involvement in the 4-H program! Members can apply to earn a jacket and volunteers are nominated by members or fellow leaders to be awarded one.
July 1 Deadline
Applications and nominations are due in the 4-H Office by July 1. Late applications and nominations will not be accepted.
Mail or deliver to: 4-H Office | WSU Extension, 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish, WA 98296. Open weekdays, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Email must be received by midnight on July 1.
4-H Awards Ceremony
Jackets are awarded during the 4-H Awards Ceremony, held opening night of the Evergreen State Fair on the Courtyard Stage (next to the 4-H Building). All 4-H Members, Volunteers, and their families and friends are encouraged to attend the 4-H Awards Ceremony to celebrate achievements and successes of the 4-H year.
Jacket Replacement
If you have outgrown or have lost your jacket, a replacement can be ordered at a cost of about $40. Verification of original jacket award is required. Scholarships to cover this cost may be available. Connect with 4-H staff to learn more about scholarship possibilities.

Applicants will select one of the following:
- Written responses to “Tell Us About You” questions
- Interview
- Alternative evaluation method (4-H staff will reach out with options.)
2025 Interview Options
- 4-H Members who choose to be interviewed for their jacket application will be contacted to set up an interview time the week of July 7th.
- 4-H Volunteers who have interest in evaluating applications and conducting interviews may contact the 4-H Office at 425-357-6044 | snoco.4h@wsu.edu.
