4-H Outreach!
It’s that time of year! We are participating in many festivals and events in May, June, and August, with a booth to promote 4-H clubs and programs!
If you love telling people what you enjoy about 4-H, teaching kids the four “H” words, or helping kids make 4-H bracelets, this could be your thing! It’s also a great opportunity to recruit new club members, and it’s a nice addition to your record book.
If you’d like to join this effort, for a couple of hours or a whole day, let us know! beth.wangen@wsu.edu We provide everything you need! Just bring your energy!

Host a 4-H Teen from Japan!
Could your family host a 4-Her from Japan for three and a half weeks this summer? The experience is enriching for all parties involved! No special touristy plans needed! They just want to see what normal life is like in an American family, and to practice their English!
Host families do not need to be in 4-H, but they must have a youth of the same gender who is within 4 years of age of the visiting delegate.
Hosts are also needed for the academic year program (August – June). Host youth requirements do not apply.
If interested or you have questions, please contact 4-H coordinator Carolyn Russo at 509-754-2011 x4309 or carolyn.russo@wsu.edu .
