Welcome to Chelan/Douglas County 4-H!

We are a youth organization with a mission of engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of positive youth development. It is open to all youth, ages 5 to 18.

Though typically thought of as an agriculturally focused organization as a result of its history, 4-H today focuses on citizenship, healthy living, science, engineering and technology, and animal science.

In addition to the club structure that many are familiar with, Washington State University 4-H offers activities for families that can be done outside of a commitment to a club, and resources for educators to use in their classrooms.

What do we do?

Currently, Chelan/Douglas County 4-H has a variety of programs and projects that youth ages 5-18 can participate in.

If you don’t see a project that interests you, check out the Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Program website for a complete list of 4-H Projects.   There are so many neat opportunities available, sometimes we just need the right person to get it started!  Please contact the 4-H Office to see if we can team up.
