Plant Clinics
Visit one of our Master Gardener plant clinic locations in Grant-Adams Counties to get free, research-based gardening advice from a Master Gardener. Volunteers can help you address your questions on soil, growing vegetables, landscape plants, pests, pollinators, water, weeds, choosing the right plant for the right place, and much more!
There are face-to-face plant clinics at the annual gardening symposium in April each year in Moses Lake, the Moses Lake Farmers Market many Saturdays from May through October, the Grant County Fair in August, and the Othello Fair in September. Other pop-up venues like the annual plant sale in May, winter farmers markets, or the Moses Lake Spring Festival are also ways to connect.
If you have a gardening issue and cannot get to one of our in-person plant clinics, submit questions via email 365 days a year, 24/7. Take pictures, describe issues, and send them to the email mentioned above along with your name, address, and phone number. Explanations should be specific so Master Gardeners can make accurate diagnoses. Include anything that might be relevant including when it was first noticed, if relevant, watering system and frequency, where is the plant located and its age, and describe recent pesticide treatments. One of the trained Master Gardeners will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Moses Lake Farmers Market:
McCosh Park (Dogwood Street Side)
Saturdays; May through October 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Samples
For those who want to bring samples for direct diagnosis, take them to the Grant County Extension Office located at 1525 E. Wheeler Road, Moses Lake, Monday-Friday, 8-5 pm. Be sure samples are in sealed containers to avoid escapes and to keep them from spreading.
