We are Educators

Annually, Master Gardeners are asked to make presentations to individuals, groups, organizations, youth, and adults. There is a list of topics many Master Gardeners can speak about,t and those willing to give presentations are listed on the ever-changing list.

Research-based information for today’s gardening challenges

Our changing climate requires that Extension Master Gardeners stay abreast of cutting-edge research-based gardening practices so we can give unbiased, valuable advice in our communities. One way to do this is through hosting a gardening symposium. We partner with the Columbia Basin Conservation District each year to organize an event that brings top speakers around a key gardening theme and delivers that information to you, free of charge, through the generosity of sponsors, donors, and grants. The themes change each year.

The next event is Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Big Bend Community College, Moses Lake, Washington.

Presentations Available by Request

Listed are a variety of topics and contact information for the various presentations given by the WSU Extension Grant/Adams Area Master Gardener Volunteers. If you find a topic that you are interested in having presented to your organization, please contact a master gardener listed.
