Pend Oreille County’s population is growing rapidly. We experienced an increase of 31.6% from 1990 to 2000 — mostly in unincorporated areas. WSU/Pend Oreille Extension provides this expanding audience of small-acreage landowners with effective, research-based information regarding:

  • Forestry
  • Agricultural enterprises
  • Noxious weed management
  • Wildfire preparedness
  • Land stewardship.
