Integrated Pest Management of Codling Moth in Apple and Pear Orchards
Codling moth is a common pest in apple and pear orchards throughout the Pacific Northwest, but it can be managed using a robust Integrated Pest Management program. WSU’s Dr. Betsy Beers will join the WSU Regional Small Farms Program for an evening online presentation to discuss codling moth in western WA. Dr. Beers is an Extension Entomologist based at the WSU Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center in Wenatchee, where she works on addressing orchard pest problems across the state.

- How to monitor growing degree days to get the best results
