Living on the Land: Small Ruminant Care on the Farm
June 8, 2025 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

On Sunday, June 8th from 12-2pm, learn what ruminant management and care looks like on the farm. This in-person class at Sage and Willow Farm in Poulsbo will build upon subjects covered in the June 3rd online class.
Learn from farm owner Roni Ryan, who has been raising both sheep and goats for over 14 years, and Katie Crawley, who owns Bard Owl Farm in Silverdale, a diversified livestock farm with sheep. There will be a demonstration in hoof trimming and how to administer necessary supplements.
This class is part of the Living on the Land series, which are classes for homesteaders, backyard growers, and anyone interested in connecting with their local food systems.
