Melisha Montano, is a Certified Peer Support worker trainer and is a woman in long term recovery. She currently serves the State of New Mexico as the program manager for the Office of Peer Recovery and Engagement which is housed in the Behavioral Health Services Division, and a part of the Human Services Department.

OPRE Training Coordinator
Nathan Lawson, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, was born and raised in southern New Mexico. Nathan is a person in long term recovery, and continues to work every day in our communities to enhance and expand peer support as a behavioral health service, to help those that may still be struggling.
