Using Assistive Technology for Working Farmers

FreeWashington AgrAbility focuses on keeping individuals working and functioning in rural communities who experience limitations such as injury, disease or aging.
Learn how assistive technology resources and technical expertise enhance the quality of life for those working and living in rural communities. This training provides an overview of AgrAbility national history; anticipated Washington State services and technical support available; and a review of resources to find products, designs, ideas and techniques to improve safety and independence. A tool demonstration will be included, highlighting a variety of innovative tools to assist farmers in their daily work.
This training is co-facilitated by WSU Skagit County Extension and the Washington Assistive Technology Act Program (WATAP).
