Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at the Northwest Washington Teen Summit! This overnight 4-H leadership conference brings teens ages 12–18 from across Northwest Washington together for a weekend packed with hands-on workshops, leadership, service, new friendships, and plenty of fun. Join us November 7–8, 2026, at Camp Lutherwood in Bellingham, WA, where you’ll meet other 4-H teens, try new things, build skills and confidence, and make memories along the way. Whether you’re already a leader in your club or just ready to step outside your comfort zone and meet new people, Teen Summit is a weekend you won’t want to miss

Become a Youth Facilitator

Want to take your Teen Summit experience to the next level? Youth Facilitators help lead the conference alongside the Teen Summit planning team, welcoming participants, helping guide activities and transitions, supporting workshops, making announcements, and helping create a fun and welcoming experience for everyone. Serving as a Youth Facilitator is a great opportunity to build leadership and public speaking skills, gain confidence, meet new people, and take an active role in making Teen Summit a success. Youth Facilitators will attend required virtual meetings before the conference so they feel prepared for their role. Interested in being a Youth Facilitator at this year’s Teen Summit? Teen Summit Registration will be available through 4-H Online beginning October 1 and will close November 4 at 9:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

  • Youth Registration: $50 through October 27
  • Late Youth Registration: $65 from October 28–November 4
  • Youth Facilitators: No cost
  • Certified 4-H Volunteers/Chaperones: No cost
  • Workshops are available on a first-come, first-served basis based on registration date, so register early for the best selection!
  • Some workshops may require an additional participation form to be completed during registration.
  • Enrolled 4-H youth members and volunteer chaperones should register using their existing 4-H Online account. Do not create a new member profile. After opening the registration page, select the white “or login” box and sign in to begin your registration.

Your Teen Summit registration will not be considered finalized until we receive your payment.

Electronic Payments: If you are paying electronically, your card will not be charged until your registration has been approved. Registrations will begin to be approved after registration closes on November 4th, at which time your card will be charged.

Nonelectronic Payments: If you select a non-electronic payment method (check or cash), please make checks payable to WSU and mail or deliver checks to:

Transportation to and from Lutherwood Camp in Bellingham, WA, is not provided. Families are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the conference. We encourage participants to contact their county 4-H coordinator to inquire about possible transportation or carpooling opportunities.

For the safety of all participants, youth and adult chaperones are expected to remain at Lutherwood Camp for the entirety of the conference. Participants who bring a vehicle should plan to leave it parked for the duration of the event.

Pick-Up: Sunday, November 8 | 4:00–5:00 p.m.

Get ready for the full camp experience! The Northwest Washington Teen Summit will be held at Lutherwood Camp & Retreat Center, located on beautiful Lake Samish just south of Bellingham, Washington. Participants will stay overnight at camp, giving teens even more time to connect, make new friends, and enjoy the Teen Summit experience together.

Lodging

Youth participants will stay in Lutherwood’s heated cabins, which feature bunk-style sleeping accommodations. Restroom and shower facilities are located in shared bathhouses near the cabins. Participants should plan to bring their own sleeping bag or bedding, pillow, towel, toiletries, and other personal overnight items.

Youth will be assigned to cabins in advance of the conference. Additional information about cabin assignments, roommate requests, and adult chaperone accommodations will be provided to registered participants prior to Teen Summit.

Meals

Meals during Teen Summit will be provided on site at Lutherwood’s Dining Hall, so participants can spend the weekend at camp without needing to leave for meals. Participants with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or other dietary needs should include that information when completing their registration so our team can plan accordingly.

If you are interested in serving as an adult chaperone for Teen Summit, please contact Ashley Saenz at ashley.saenz@wsu.edu before registering. Chaperone needs will be based on youth registration numbers and event staffing needs. Once confirmed as a chaperone, you will receive instructions for completing your Teen Summit registration through 4-H Online using your existing volunteer profile.

All Adult Chaperones are required to attend one Chaperone Meeting prior to Teen Summit. Two meeting options will be offered, you only need to attend one. During the meeting, we’ll review the Teen Summit schedule, chaperone roles and responsibilities, youth supervision expectations, lodging and meal responsibilities, emergency procedures, and everything you need to feel prepared for the weekend.
