To nominate a 4-H volunteer for the award of County Volunteer of the Year, submit at least a paragraph in writing, describing why you think the individual deserves this award. Nominations are due at the 4-H Council meeting the second Wednesday in July, or they may be submitted to the 4-H office in advance.
Candidates must be certified and enrolled 4-H volunteers for at least two years, and they must be nominated by another enrolled 4-H volunteer.
Nominations must include the name of the person nominating. If your nominee is chosen by the 4-H Council to receive the award, you will be asked to contribute a poster or tri-fold honoring the awardee for the WA State 4-H Forum.
