DIY environmentally and budget friendly cleaning products
Join Kellee Byard, Sustainable Communities Program Coordinator at the WSU Snohomish County Extension, to learn how to make environmentally friendly cleaning supplies from simple household ingredients.
This workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 25th from 1pm to 2pm. It will be at the Mill Creek Library.
First, the workshop will include a presentation on the risks of household hazardous waste and how to dispose of it. Then, Kellee will demo a product from the “Green Cleaning” recipe booklet. After, you can create your own cleaning supplies from the provided materials. Each participant receives a recipe booklet and will take home at least one cleaning product they made during the workshop.
Register on the Mill Creek Library’s webpage for the event; there is limited space. The age limit is 13 and up.
