State Equine Contests

 

Woohoo!  Many thanks to Pat and all the coaches!

Congratulations to our Senior and Intermediate Horse Bowl teams that earned Reserve Champion status in the first ever virtual competition!  Several of our youth placed in the top ten, including seniors Emma Harding (2nd), Hannah Krucheck (5th), Tristan Krohn (5th), Sadie Haworth (6th), and intermediates Addison Kapur (1st), Elise Petermann (2nd), Katelyn Cockrum (3rd), Dakota Gruchalla (6th), and Morganne Wilson (8th).  Well done!

Additional congratulations go to Dakota Kent, who earned 3rd place in Equine Presentations!

Snohomish County’s Senior Equine Judging team won 3rd place, with Emma Harding earning the individual bronze medal and top score in Reasons, Jaeden Kapur and Dakota Kent scoring 6th and 7th place, respectively.

Our Intermediate Equine Judging team earned Reserve Champion status, with Breanna Parks in 1st, Amelia Kim in 2nd, Makena Porter in 3rd, and Madison Erickson-Corp, Amanda Curtis, and Elise Petermann scoring 8th, 9th, and 10th, respectively.  Our Junior Equine Judges excelled, as well, with Case Friesen in 3rd, Alice McFarlane in 4th, and Lilly Nolan, Klara Mayhan, and Ryann Baze in 8th, 9th, and 10th.

Not to be outdone, our Senior Hippology team earned Reserve State Champion status, with Jaeden Kapur in 4th, Savannah Schmidt 7th, Elaina Kunz 8th, and Mary Sanders 10th, and our Intermediate Hippology team are Champions!  Amelia Kim earned gold, Addison Kapur silver, Madison Erickson-Corp 4th, and Breanna Parks 6th.
