Eligibility

• Senior level 4-H member
• Evergreen State Fair exhibitor (at least two years)
• Year-round leadership and community service experience

Include in your written application, in this order

• Name
• Address
• Number of years of completed 4-H Club work
• Age
• Year you graduated or will graduate
• School

Next, provide answers for the following, in this order.  Please include the question/instruction in your document, as well.

1. List the 4-H items and/or animals that you have exhibited at    Evergreen State Fair. Summarize by year, project, number of exhibits.
2. List your winnings or special honors awarded in 4-H contests associated with the Evergreen Fair such as judging, style show, demonstrations, etc.
3. List the types of Community Service you have participated in during the past year.
4. List one or two highlights of your experiences in 4-H leadership.
5. What are your plans after high school graduation? How has 4-H influenced your career choice?
6. What do you think has been most valuable about exhibiting at the Evergreen State Fair?

Recommendation

Attach a brief statement (recommendation) written and signed by your 4-H leader.

Please include phone number and e-mail we can use to communicate with you, schedule interview, etc.

Interviews of Finalists

Finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges on a virtual conference call (using Zoom) on the morning of Monday before the start of the Evergreen State Fair, unless otherwise announced.  Alternate dates are not available.

The awards are announced at the 4-H Awards Ceremony on the opening night (Thursday) of the Evergreen State Fair, at the Courtyard stage.  Ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m.
