WSU Spokane County Extension Open House

Curious to see what that WSU building is over by the fairgrounds? Come find out on Saturday, October 17th!
All of our Extension programs will be present. Learn about 4-H clubs and projects, such as small animals, cooking, sewing, horses and livestock! You can even learn about proper care for horses without owning a horse.
Other participating programs include the Spokane County Master Gardeners. Feel free to ask your gardening questions and learn about resources available for a greener thumb.
Plus don’t miss the special BBQ Demonstrations at 10am, 12pm & 2pm.
If you are interested in food preservation, there will be FREE pressure gauge testing on site. Bring the lid and gauge of your pressure canner and get it tested!
Our local forester will be here to answer questions about trees and insects and other wild land questions.
There’s something for everybody, so come learn about the services and activities that are available to you as a resident of Spokane County.
