Pruning for Novices – a free gardening workshop

Meet at the Gazebo. We will be outside and sitting, standing and walking on pavement, gravel and grass. Please plan clothing and footwear accordingly.
Seating is limited and you are welcome to bring your own chair.
No advance registration required, just show up.
Free and open to all!

The workshop will focus on the basics of pruning various ornamental plants. The following will be covered:
- The methods of pruning for different plant types (trees, shrubs, multi-stem)
- Pruning tools
- The different pruning cuts (good and bad ones)
- The steps of pruning
