Help sling mulch

at Blue Heron

Blue Heron Middle School hosts its annual orchard mulching day from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 21 at the school, 3939 San Juan Ave.

The community is invited to help spread wood chips around the 70 fruit trees at the school orchard. Bring wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, buckets and extra wheelbarrows to share if possible.
