Solitary Bee Harvesting

Come join us for our fourth annual hands-on bee harvesting class! This is a fun and educational event  appropriate for people of all ages.

We will sort through nesting material, harvest cocoons that should be harvested in fall, control for any pests & diseases, and prepare bees to store over winter.

Weather-appropriate clothes that you’re OK getting a little dirty are recommended.

Feel free to bring solitary bee nesting material from your yard. If you’re considering installing a solitary bee house in your yard, please join us to learn more about how to get your new hobby started on the right foot.
