Food Safety and Meat Preservation Workshop

FreeIt’s hunting season! This workshop features “How to Safely Preserve Game Meat.” Learn safe procedures for field dressing game meat, how to safely process and store game meat, and why meats must be canned using a pressure canner.
Hosted by WSU Ferry County Extension Office with our fellow sponsor WSU Colville Reservation Extension. Our presenter is Kayla Wells-Moses, Family and Consumer Science Educator, with WSU Colville Reservation Extension. There is no cost for this workshop.
Pre-registration is requested as there is limited space. Walk-ins will be welcome if space is available.
