Lamb and Goat Weigh and Tag Day – Grant County 4-H/FFA
The Grant County 4-H/FFA lamb and goat weigh and tag day is Friday, June 14, 2019 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Grant County Fairgrounds. All 4-H and FFA market lambs and goats that will be exhibited at the Grant County Fair must be tagged and weighed at this time. Cougar Classic Lamb Camp
This event will be held in conjunction with the Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition (NWJSE), Moses Lake, WA July 10 and 11, 2020 and the Washington Ram Sale July 11, 2020. 4-H Poultry Tagging and Testing
In Person Event Paperwork will be emailed directly to families prior to this event. Please have it filled out and bring it with you Saturday. Remember, if you are planning on bringing a bird project to the fair, they must be at the tagging and testing on the 12th. Sheep tags will be available at the Extension Office. 4-H leaders or individual families will tag lambs. A picture of the animal’s head showing both the yellow fair tag and the scrapie tag will need to be submitted to the extension office (ana.myers@wsu.edu) by Monday, June 21. This is a hard deadline. Late photos will not be accepted and the animal will not be approved as a 4-H project and unable to be showcased at the fair.

4-H Educational Posters Due Date
In-Person Event Educational posters will be judged prior to being displayed at the fair this year. They need to be dropped off at the Extension Office by July 28th. Please include following information on the back of the posters: name, age division, exhibitor number, and 4-H Club name. Once they are judged, they can be collected from the Extension office on August 12-13th or picked up Monday, August 16th at the 4-H building at the Fairgrounds and displayed on/near animal…

Any posters not picked up at the Extension Office can be picked up Monday, August 16th at the 4-H building at the Fairgrounds and displayed on/near animal pens or cages.
