Sponsored by Grant County Horse Association At the March 30, 2018 clinic we can complete 4-H horse ownership certificates for any 4-H members who need certificates. April 1 is the date certificates are due. We are going to weigh using the livestock scale, use a weight tape to estimate weight and measure horse’s height and blanket sizes. Area V Livestock Judging Day at Freeman’s Dairy
All county 4-H & FFA members are invited to come and practice their livestock judging skills. Judging classes will include horses, beef cattle, dairy cattle, swine, sheep, and goats. This is a good place to fit in a demonstration, to practice for fair and to meet up with friends from around the county. Market Steer Weigh and Tag Day
Grant County 4-H/FFA Steer Weigh and Tag Day is Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Grant County Fairgrounds. All Grant County Fair steers, 4-H and FFA, must be weighed and tagged at this time in order to show and sell at the fair.
