Washington Swine Information Day
The Washington Swine Information Day will be held on February 7, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 4:45 PM (registration 8:30 AM) at the Pillar Rock Grill (Moses Lake Golf & Country Club) in Moses Lake, Washington. Swine producers of all sizes; 4-H/FFA youth producers; agency representatives; agriculture educators; and fair/show representatives are invited to participate. Cougar Classic Lamb Camp
This event will be held in conjunction with the Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition (NWJSE), Moses Lake, WA July 10 and 11, 2020 and the Washington Ram Sale July 11, 2020. Shearing School
This annual shearing school has been offered to individuals seeking experience and knowledge about shearing, wool evaluation, and sheep production since 1977. In addition to teaching the skills of shearing and associated equipment information and care, students learn various aspects of wool marketing and production and sheep husbandry.

Gathering the Flock – Let’s Meet Ewe
The Columbia Basin Sheep Producers in collaboration with WSU Grant and Adams County Extension Offices are offering area sheep producers an opportunity to come together to meet each other and participate in a webinar about the countdown to lambing and newborn care, club lamb fungus, and WSU disease diagnostics by Guest Presenter: Dr. Melissa Holahan, DVM, WSU Post-Doc. In addition, the CBSP will provide a pizza/sub dinner to participants.
