Gathering the Flock – Let’s Meet Ewe
The Columbia Basin Sheep Producers in collaboration with WSU Grant and Adams County Extension Offices are offering area sheep producers an opportunity to come together to meet each other and participate in a webinar about the countdown to lambing and newborn care, club lamb fungus, and WSU disease diagnostics by Guest Presenter: Dr. Melissa Holahan, DVM, WSU Post-Doc. In addition, the CBSP will provide a pizza/sub dinner to participants.

This annual shearing school has been offered to individuals seeking experience and knowledge about shearing, wool evaluation, and sheep production since 1977. In addition to teaching the skills of shearing and associated equipment information and care, students learn various aspects of wool marketing and production and sheep husbandry. Washington State Swine Artificial Insemination Workshop
The Washington Pork Produces and Washington State University (WSU) Department of Animal Science and Extension is offering a one-day, hands-on workshop on the various aspects of swine artificial insemination.
