Washington Swine Information Day features an array of presentations that have been organized to meet the diverse and unique needs of Pacific Northwest swine producers. Please see the Brochure/Registration form for more information.

This annual shearing school has been offered to individuals seeking experience and knowledge about shearing, wool evaluation, and sheep production since 1977. In addition to teaching the skills of shearing and associated equipment information and care, students learn various aspects of wool marketing and production and sheep husbandry.

The Northwest Junior Sheep Exposition (NWJSE) presented by the Washington Junior Lamb Carcass Show (WJLCS) is an educational event offering youth the opportunity to obtain growth and ultrasound carcass results from lambs they exhibit.

The Columbia Basin Sheep Producers in collaboration with WSU Grant and Adams County Extension Offices are offering area sheep producers an opportunity to come together to meet each other and participate in a webinar about the countdown to lambing and newborn care, club lamb fungus, and WSU disease diagnostics by Guest Presenter: Dr. Melissa Holahan, DVM, WSU Post-Doc. In addition, the CBSP will provide a pizza/sub dinner to participants.
