1st Saturday Workshop – Pests, Pests, and More Pests
December 7, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The workshop will focus on some of the more common pests that we are asked about and are found in our area. We will take a look at what their actual role in our ecosystems are (besides eating our favorite plants!) and discuss how much of their presence we can tolerate until it’s time to take action with various management options. Topics will include: deer, slugs/snails, aphids, and moles/voles.
Presentations are scheduled from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by questions/answers and discussion until Noon at the Grays Harbor County Extension Office, 34 Elma McCleary Road, in Elma. The Extension office is co-located with the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds. As always, registration is free along with parking.
