DiG@Shores
Demonstration Garden

DiG@Shores is the newest Grays Harbor County Master Gardener demonstration garden located at Ocean Shores United Methodist Church, next to the Ocean Shores Library.
The garden is actively under construction, but our goal is to have a garden learning space in Ocean Shores to share with residents and visitors alike. In addition to demonstrating how to grow food, conserve water, and support pollinators, there will be a small public area on the library end of the garden that will be open to the public 24×7 as a place to simply enjoy being in nature, but also demonstrate what plants can or cannot tolerate the significant deer pressure in this community.
Our goal is to share the riches of this garden with visitors and our communities. We do this in many ways; by sharing produce and vegetable plant seedlings with our local food bank clients & others, by demonstrating how to promote soil health without use of chemicals, through sharing information on plants & gardening with visitors, and by inviting the public in to walk our pathways and enjoy whatever the season offers.
