Take the first step towards becoming a 4-H volunteer below

Welcome to our Volunteer Program!

One of the defining elements of 4-H as an organization is our commitment to ongoing learning AND the highly rigorous certification process of our volunteers and staff. This is big reason why 4-H has so much public trust, and we are grateful to your participation!

Below is a checklist of all the steps you need to complete to fulfil WSU requirements.

As you complete the trainings, we encourage you to download or screenshot your certificate and send it to the County Coordinator – your certificate is proof if the system doesn’t register your completion. At this time you only have to complete this training once.

Next you will need to Enroll – if you are a new volunteer or 4-H member you will need to create a profile. Complete this step every year you are active starting Oct. 12st

Please report your monthly hours to your County Coordinator – this provides L&I worker protection, and shows the impact volunteers have in our County! In 2025 we recorded over 3,876.45 hours  – worth over $160,00.00!

If you wish to turn in on paper there is an option for that as well.

If you would like to print out a list to complete the steps download the PDF below.

Thank you for your time and support!

4-Her’s are…

2x More likely to have the goal of being a leader!
3x More likely to participate in community service!
2x More likely to report living life with intentionality and purpose!
