Are You a Hosta Hoarder?

Given the diversity of hostas, no one would blame you for hoarding as many varieties as possible!

on June 8th, Two Master Gardeners will give presentations about these highly desirable plants from the Asparagaceae family. Wendy will share what she’s learned about these beloved shade-tolerant foliage plants, their history, how they grow, and care tips.

Becky Stinson will focus on the Jefferson County Master Gardener story of how we acquired hostas from Naylor Creek Nursery in 2021, the concerted effort to preserve them, and how we’ve distributed (and continue to distribute) them.

The general public is invited to join Master Gardeners in hearing these presentations. It will be in person at the WSU classroom in Port Hadlock.
