Fruit Tree Grafting Class – Sat March 10th *New*
CedarRoot Folk School offers Fruit Tree Grafting & Woody Perennial Propagation Class. Learn and practice basic grafting techniques under the guidance of Spring Rain Farm’s John Bellows.  Grafting allows the home orchardist to inexpensively select rootstock and varieties of fruit trees that are best adapted to their local soil and climatic conditions.  After an introduction to woody plant propagation, grafting theory, and several grafting techniques, students will gain hands-on experience by grafting five fruit trees to bring home.  $80 includes instruction and the 5 trees.  Sign up through CedarRoot’s website, here.
