The Natural History of Olympic Prairies

Forest Shomer, owner of Inside Passages seed company, will talk about prairie preservation, the theme for this year’s Native Plant Appreciation Month. Forest’s talk will highlight geologic history, conservation, and the restoration of Western Washington prairies as well as the contribution all of us can make by knowing the native species and integrating them into our landscaping.
