Agriculture Can Be Stressful- You’re Not Alone
WSU Skagit Extension Office has secured an ongoing state wide program for farmers dealing with stress and in need of resources. Please check out their resources pages and reach out if you need assistance.
Statewide Offerings/Programs include:
- Suicide Prevention – Resources and hotline info for farmers coping with excessive stress.
- AgrAbility Project – Washington AgrAbility offers consultation services and education to connect you and your family to resources which promote well-being in the workplace and reduce risk of secondary injury.
- Free Therapy Voucher Program – The voucher program offers farmers 6 free online sessions with a trained psychologist, to help you get where you want to be.
WSU and the Agricultural Suicide Prevention Program is not a crisis center. If you are in need of immediate assistance, reach out to the National Suicide Prevention line, 1-800-273-8255.
