Dirt Talk: Agritourism

FreeJoin us for our next Dirt Talk Farmer-to-Farmer networking and learning event on August 23rd at 6pm. We will be joined by WSU agritourism specialist, Trevor Lane, who will be sharing his knowledge and expertise working with farmers looking to implement agritourism as part of their farm business. Trevor will be giving a general overview of the current state of agritourism in Washington, including the economic impacts and common barriers for farmers. Discussion topics will also include:
- Risk & Liability
- Biosecurity
- Resources for farmers
This event was rescheduled from the original date in July. Though this event is from an agritourism point of view, information presented may be of interest to farmers not doing agritourism activities, specifically topics of Risk, Liability and biosecurity on the farm.

What is Dirt Talk?
Dirt Talk is hosted by WSU Regional Small Farms in conjunction with a local farmer or agriculture specialist willing to share their expertise in a given topic. Events are held in a supportive yet informal atmosphere, that allows participants to share, exchange perspectives, and learn from each other without pressure.
Events are open to all new and current farmers!
