For over 30 years, JLT has worked in creative partnerships with local farmers to keep land open for food production for generations to come. Jefferson County is home to a vibrant community of fiber farmers raising sheep, llama, and alpaca and producing wool of exceptional quality for a variety of weavers, knitters, crochetters, or textile artists and businesses. Center Valley Animal Rescue

Egg and I Pork specializes in bringing locally fed and humanely raised hazelnut-finished Tamworth pork to local area restaurants and specialty retail markets. Owned by farmers Philip Vogelzang and Doyle Yancey, the pigs are raised on their 25-acre cooperative farm in fertile farm country off Egg and I Road.

Water Moon Farm

Water Moon Farm is a first generation, multi-generational farmstead in its second season in Beaver Valley. Focused on permaculture homestead and currently specializing in farm-made tempeh, a traditional food of Indonesia, and thrilled to share with visitors what they’ve crafted.
