Skamania Pollinator Garden Work Day

April 9th Skamania Pollinator Garden Work Day (Community Service Opportunity) Hegewald Building 1:00 pm – 4:00pm or when done.
Skamania County Noxious Weed received a grant to plant a Native Pollinator Garden on the Skamania County fairgrounds. More hands are needed to help prepare the space on April 9th from 1:00 pm or whenever you can arrive until completed. Tasks include:
- raking the garden site
- shoveling small tranches around the edges
- laying cardboard down
- shoveling wood chips
Additional hands of all sizes are welcomed. Tools will be provided but members are asked to make sure to wear gloves and appropriate footwear. This is a great way to show how a few hours of light manual labor can eventually lead to something beautiful and give back to their community.
