$20

Loggers Workshop, March 29

Loggers play a vital role in the health and well-being of forests and timber communities and require special knowledge and skills to provide and protect wood, wildlife, water, and recreational opportunities. The annual Loggers Workshop provides an educational opportunity to interact with other forestry professionals and industry leaders to discuss topics of emerging significance, so that forests continue to be a source of goods and benefits to the owner and to society.

Date: March 29, 2019 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Location: Northeast Washington Fairgrounds Agriculture & Trade Center

317 West Astor Ave. Colville, WA 99114

Cost: $20 per person (includes 1 lunch).

The Workshop also helps loggers meet training and continuing education requirements of the Washington Contract Loggers Association and the Master Logger Program. It is worth eight hours of continuing education units (CEUs). The program is also eligible for Society of American Foresters CFE credits. For information contact Chris Schnepf, 208-446-1680.
