Top Chef Contest is an opportunity for youth enrolled in a 4-H Foods Project to show off their cooking/baking and table setting skills. This contest is held yearly in February. Leader’s Training

Description: Know Your Government (KYG) is a civic education program with a four-year rotating topic, including: The Legislative System; Judicial System; Elections and Party Platforms; and Politics and the Media. KYG is open to youth 9th-12th grade enrolled in the 4-H program. The conference takes place during President's Day weekend at the Capital in Washington State. Description: The 4-H Top Chef contest is open to all 4-H members who are enrolled in the 4-H Food & Nutrition project. Registration for this event is due by February 3rd. Deadline: Burgess 4-H Scholarship Application
Application must be received at the Extension Office by March 1 at 5 p.m. The Burgess Scholarship is available to any 4-H member who is a resident of Walla Walla County and has been an active 4-H member for at least three years. High school seniors may apply for their freshman year and college freshman may apply for their sophomore year. Washington State 4-H is pleased to offer a number of different scholarships. Current and former Washington State 4-H members are eligible to apply. Applicants must have accumulated at least two years of 4-H affiliation. Previous Washington State 4-H scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply.
