Patty joined the WSU Extension team in July of 2022. She supports the Master Gardener Programs for Yakima and Kittitas Counties in a full-time position. She has long admired the program and now plans to support Master Gardener Volunteers in reaching their full potential for sharing horticulture and environmental stewardship information in their communities.
Patty’s background as a Certified Activity Coordinator brings years of experience planning and leading activities as well as working with volunteers. She and her husband are long-time PNW residents. They are finishing their new home and look forward to putting in a vegetable garden next spring ,where Patty hopes to teach her grandchildren how to grow vegetables and flowers.
